Chengyu (Harry) Yu (余城宇) is a filmmaker and AI researcher, currently pursuing an M.S. in Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). He graduated from Wesleyan University as a Freeman Asian Scholar with High Honors, double majoring in Film Studies and Computer Science. His films include Birthday Present (director), Finding Home (director of photography), and an AIGC short that won Monthly Best Animation Short at the Rome Prisma Film Awards. His research spans multimodal LLM agents, generative AI, and web privacy, with publications in Nature Scientific Data and Pragmatic Cybersecurity.
